Data Visualization
The graphical representation of data and information using charts, graphs, maps, and other visual formats.
Data visualization transforms raw data into visual formats that make patterns, trends, outliers, and relationships easier to understand. Common visualization types include bar charts for comparisons, line charts for trends over time, scatter plots for correlations, heatmaps for density, pie charts for composition, and geographic maps for spatial data. Effective data visualization follows principles of clarity, accuracy, and efficiency–encoding data in ways that leverage human visual perception. Modern visualization tools support interactivity, real-time updates, and responsive design.
