AI connector
AI for Database in Claude and ChatGPT
Ask your databases questions, run read-only SQL and set up alerts without leaving your AI assistant. It uses the connections, permissions and credits of your AI for Database workspace.
Connect in Claude
- 1Open the AI for Database listing in the Claude directory, or search for it under Settings → Connectors.
- 2Click Connect and sign in to AI for Database.
- 3Review the access and click Allow.
Connect in ChatGPT
- 1Open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
- 2Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, click Create MCP app and enter the server URL below.
- 3Sign in to AI for Database, click Allow, then pick it from the tools menu in a new chat.

Muse by Meta
In Muse, open Connectors and search for AI for Database. Click Connect, sign in and click Allow, then ask Muse about your data.

- “How many customers do we have on each plan?”
- “Show me the five largest payments last month, with the customer name.”
- “Write a read-only query for weekly signups over the last quarter and run it.”
- “Email me every Monday if any support ticket has been open for more than 7 days.”

Queries run read-only. Tools that can send email or webhook alerts are labelled as such to Claude and ChatGPT. To review each one before it runs, set it to Needs approval in Claude under Settings → Connectors → AI for Database. The connector cannot change billing, team members or connection credentials.
Disconnect, privacy and support
Remove the connector in Claude or ChatGPT, or revoke its key under Settings → API Keys in AI for Database; a revoked key stops working immediately. The assistant receives only the results of the tools it runs, and AI for Database never sees your password or your other conversations. See the privacy policy and security overview.
